This Bishop Bay home is sitting on the beautiful golf course facing west. For nearly 20 years, the customers have lived with nothing on the windows. For several years, they discussed doing something but did not know what to do to prevent the glaring sun and add style and privacy. Then, they called Georgi at Incredible Windows.
Several options were discussed. Beside the height of the windows, one concern was the curved, middle upper window.
The decision was made to mount a blind at the break point in the window. This was achieved by placing a floating header behind the window for mounting. Since three windows were too high to reach, PowerView made it possible to operate the blinds.
The customer decided to add texture to the room with the Provenance Woven Wood blinds. The standard Roman in the Calliope fabric in Olive Branch perfectly compliments the decor in the great room and the dining room. The existing drapery panels also compliment the Provenance fabric nicely. The Romans are not lined. However, the customer is satisfied with the light control and privacy that this fabric provides. They fit nicely on the narrow dining room windows as well as the French doors going out to the patio.
The great room and dining room are absolutely the creme de la creme with the addition of the Hunter Douglas Woven Woods!
They are now able to watch television with less glare plus not worry about fading of the furniture and flooring. They can also comfortably sit in their great room and dining room, even on a hot summer day. Another satisfied customer!
