Meet the team
Meet Georgi and Mike
Incredible Windows was founded in 2006 by Georgiana (Georgi) Giese Schwandt. Growing up as a midwest seed corn farmer’s daughter in central Illinois, Georgi learned the value of hard work, compassion and dedication to her family, friends, and small farming community. After graduating from the University of Illinois, she moved to Wisconsin. She served as a high school educator for 28 years serving in four school districts in various roles. As a former educator and a window treatment provider, she continues to live by the values that she learned as a child. Georgi and her team have covered 1000’s of windows in the greater Madison, WI area focusing on serving clients with kindness and respect.
Georgi’s husband, Mike, is an integral part of the business. He has been self-employed for his entire life. He has served in many necessary roles in Incredible Windows, including business coach and CFO. Mike may be along assisting with an installation. He is also willing to help with many tasks needed in the business. This may include going to a customer’s home to help with a repair. Mike also grew up on a farm in central Wisconsin.
Since 2006, Georgiana Giese Schwandt and the Incredible Windows! team have been helping home owners and business owners select the best Hunter Douglas window treatments for their home or office. We will guide you to a solution that reflects your style and stays within your budget. We can offer window treatments for even the most difficult windows.
Dawson Loether is a certified Hunter Douglas installer. He does an incredible job installing all Hunter Douglas products. Not only does he know the product well, but he is also a self-starter, immaculate, detail-oriented, and a problem solver. Dawson started working at a very young age milking cows on his grandparents’ farm. His work ethic is impeccable. His grandpa has been a wonderful role model for Dawson, teaching him invaluable skills. Besides being comfortable with a drill and on a tall ladder or scaffolding, Dawson loves to fly. He is a pilot, and he and his grandfather are building an airplane from a kit. Dawson is an invaluable team member with a talent for finding solutions even for particularly high or unusually shaped windows so they can be beautifully covered. He truly is incredible!
Juanita Wagner is the master scheduler for all of Dawson’s work. After receiving all of the products, she will contact the consumer to schedule the installation. If a service call is needed, Juanita will also contact the consumer to schedule the service call. Occasionally, she will go to the installations to assist Dawson.
Kari Goninen is an important member of the Incredible Windows team. Many customers will not see Kari because she is typically ‘’behind the scenes” ensuring everything runs smoothly. Kari, a part-time preschool teacher in the DeForest Area School District, is focused on excellence in any endeavor! She helps Georgi with whatever needs to be done….and has even been known to go to an installation to help Dawson, too. Most of the time, however, she does what it takes to make things run smoothly. Every organization needs a “right hand man”….well, in this case, a “woman”…. that’s Kari. Kari lives in DeForest with her husband, Aaron, and their 3 children.
Since Kendall was nine years old, she has been helping Georgi with many tasks. Her organizational skills are excellent! As Kendall has gotten older, she has been going to appointments when she can do so. She has learned many of the Hunter Douglas products, is excellent with color, and loves to help customers make selections that look beautiful in their homes. Her interest in business has become evident. She can also explain and demonstrate the various lifting systems and discuss energy efficiency with the customers. Kendall just happens to be Georgi’s granddaughter. Kendall has also taken over the social media postings for Incredible Windows. You may be surprised to see Kendall on sales calls; however, you will find her helpful and delightful. When she is not working as an assistant, you will find her going to school, hanging out with her friends, and dancing. Kendall has been involved with dance since she was 3. Besides numerous dance classes throughout the week, Kendall is on a competitive dance team in the Madison, WI, area.
